NOTE
My Grandfather used one name on my Father's birth certificate and my Grandmother used another name
on the baptism certificate. The name on the baptism certificate was the name my Father used all his life.
When it was time for my Father to retire, he applied for Social Security, and because the name on his birth certificate
was different then the name he had been using all his life, they required that he show early census and school records,
to prove that he was using only one of the names.

I requested 1930 school records from the Town of Amherst in 1985, and was very surprised when I received
the information along with his grades and a school photo from the school district!
