Additional Information

- * Frick, Jacob, (First burial) died March 4, 1832, age 66 years. As
early as 1819. Mr. Frick served as pathmaster of the Town of
Clarence.
That same year (1819) he built the stone hiuse on Wehrle drive
drive near Shimerville Rd. which still stands.
Jacob, his brothers Christian and John and their sister Magdalena
( Blocher came to Clarence in 1807, the first of the Frick family
in Western New York.

- History : This cemetery was apparently started as a church
cemetery.
The 1855 map of the Town of Clarence shows a Mennonite
meetinghouse at this site.
All those buried here, of which have records, are of the Mennonite
Faith.
