Town of North Collins
Davis Cemetery (MF) - 1851-1967

Friends Meeting House Cemetery - On the west side of Gowanda Road (Route 62) at the intersection of Shirley Road

Hicksite Cemetery - On the west side of Gowanda Road (Route 62) at the intersection of Shirley Road

Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Cemetery - 2017 Halley Rd., North Collins, NY 14111 (716) 337-2544
(On the east side of Gowanda Road at the intersection of Shirley Road) This was originally St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery, another section of cemetery
at the SE corner of Brant Road and Mile Block Road was originally Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery.
The parishes of St. John's and Sacred Heart were merged into Holy Spirit Parish in 1937, although the congregations maintained their own churches. The first Mass was celebrated there Christmas 1958.

Huson Cemetery -

Marshfield Burying Ground - Located southeast of the intersection of Route 75 (Cemetery Sisson Highway) and Marshfield Road

Marshfield Burying Ground - (Wally MacDowell) Located on the hill just southeast of that intersection of Route 75 and Marshfield Road

Marshfield Burying Ground, Purchasers of Plots -
Below are purchasers of plots at the abandoned cemetery on Route 75 (Sisson Highway) and Marshfield Road, North Collins. At one time, this  hamlet of Marshfield had it's own post office. It is now part of the Town of North Collins. It is not known, at this time, how many graves were in each plot, but standard for the time would have been six. There is no known official list of burials. The cemetery is located on two gentle hills just southeast of the above intersection. The apparently unsold row of plots (#57-#70) appears to be the low spot between the two hills. The cemetery is laid out in rows of 14 plots each with the numbering of plots beginning on the south side of the cemetery and running north from southwest corner. Rows beginning with plot #71, plot #85, and plot #99 are located on the north hill.  Rows beginning with plot #1, plot #15, plot #29, and plot #43 are located on the south hill. Plots listed as "--" do not list a purchaser. There is also no indication on the plot registry of any year, but most burials were c. 1840
through about 1900 as indicated by stones remaining now.

Marshfield Methodist Cemetery - (Wally MacDowell) Northeast corner of Route 75 (Sisson Highway) and Mansfield Road

North Collins, Quaker" Cemetery - Route 62 south of North Collins Road.

Old Quaker Cemetery - On the NW corner of Quaker Road and Wilcox Road (then called Cemetery Road). There was an Orthodox Quaker Meeting House just north of the cemetery in the 1800s.
Quaker Cemetery - Route 39 - Route 39 about 1/4 mile east of Kerr-Warner

Sacred Heart Cemetery - This cemetery is officially in the Town of Brant but belongs to the North Collins parish

St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery see Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Wilcox Cemetery - Intersection of Quaker and Wilcox Roads, first intersection south of the hamlet of Shirley which is now part of the Town of North Collins. There is a very old Quaker Cemetery at the intersection of Quaker and Wilcox Roads, North Collins.  This is the first intersection south of the hamlet of Shirley which is now part of the Town of North Collins. At one time, the original log Quaker Meeting House in North Collins was located immediately north of the Quaker-Wilcox intersection and the cemetery was on the corner. The log Meeting House was destroyed by fire c. 1900.

There were several private cemeteries in the town which no longer have stones showing. One was near the intersection of Jennings and Shirley Roads, another at the intersection of Eden Road and School St.. The original Congregational Church Cemetery was located just north of the intersection of what is now School St. and Route 62 (at that time, it was called Church St. and Main St.). At some point, I don't have the date, it was moved to what is now North Collins Cemetery on Route 62 south of the Village of North Collins but in the Town of North Collins. This is the location where the original Hicksite Quaker Cemetery on Route 62 was located and the Hicksite Meeting House still stands in the southern section near Route 62.

Langford
Dittman Cemetery - (MF) 1851 - 1967 - Southeast side of the intersection of Sisson Highway (Rt. 75) and Clarksburg Road immediately north of Langford.

St.Martin's Cemetery - Sisson Highway (Rt.. 75) in the heart of the hamlet of Langford. In the early days of the parish, it was situated on the east side of Route 75 beside the church. When the small plot became full, the cemetery was moved (as many caskets/bodies as could be found) across to the west side of the street in the present cemetery. (Catholic, one of two)

Data was taken from monuments in 1995.  Dates are death dates

New Oregon

Sweet Family Cemetery - Located on private property off the New Oregon Road in a field way off the road in New Oregon. It`s about a mile on the right from New Oregon 4 corners. There`s not but a few houses there. The cemetery is back by the woods and there`s a field in the front. You can probably see the metal fence from the road. (Barbara Durfee)

St.Mary's Cemetery - Records located at St. Mary's Church This cemetery has always been on the hill directly west of the church (which the parishioners consider their "Country Cathedral"). Look ups- Georgianne ggbowman@email.msn.com
